Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy combined with ACell powder, then injected into the scalp, activates stem cells in the scalp tissue. This promotes the body's own tissue-regeneration mechanism that stimulates the growth centers in the hair follicles.

To create platelet-rich plasma, clinicians take a blood sample from the patient and place it into a centrifuge. The centrifuge rapidly spins the sample, separating the other components of the blood from the platelets and concentrating them within the plasma.

POST-THERAPY + RESULTS

Patients may experience some minor pain, minimal bleeding or redness around the injection sites. Some patients have reported mild headaches or a sensation of tightness of the scalp. These side effects typically resolve within 1-2 days post PRP therapy treatment.

Depending on your hairline and hair density goals, multiple treatment sessions might be suggested. These appointments are generally spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. It is recommended to receive maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months in order to maintain your results.
